The Heart of Dusty Magnolias
Dusty Magnolias celebrates Southern heritage, old craftsmanship, and the kind of furniture that still has a story to tell. Our work began with a love for uncovering hidden gems, rescuing forgotten pieces, and bringing them back to a useful, beautiful place in the home. Each piece reflects the rich history and charm of the South, carefully repaired, refreshed, finished, or repurposed into something thoughtful and more useful while preserving the character that made it worth saving in the first place. We believe in the beauty of age, imperfection, and honest wear, because vintage furniture is never just decor. It’s a piece of history ready for its next chapter.

Our Process
Step 1: We Find the Piece
We source vintage furniture locally in Alabama, choosing pieces with solid bones, good character, and a story worth continuing. Some pieces shown on this page may be current works in progress and not yet available for purchase.
Step 2: We Repair & Refurbish
Each piece is cleaned, repaired, sanded, stained, refinished, or refreshed as needed with the goal of honoring its original charm. Furniture work is seasonal for us, mainly fall, winter, and spring, because Alabama summers are rude and nobody needs to refinish furniture in an outdoor sauna.
Step 3: Local Viewing & Pickup
Our furniture pieces are available locally only. We do not ship furniture. If a piece is available, you’re welcome to reach out with questions or arrange a local viewing before purchasing or pickup.
Please note: Furniture availability changes as pieces are found, finished, and sold. Some photos may show projects still in progress.
